About the company

Artglas Recycling is a family business with traditions in the glass industry. We have been operating in the glass waste recycling sector since 2002. The company primarily focuses on managing cullet generated during flat glass processing.
Glass waste, such as laminated glass cullet (VSG), mirror glass cullet, car windows, container glass cullet, and greenhouse glass, are recycled and then used in various industrial sectors.

The company is based in the Lubusz Voivodeship, where it began its operations. Artglas Recycling gradually expanded its activities to other regions. Today, we serve glass processing companies across Poland and Europe.
One of Artglas Recycling’s goals is to reduce the costs of cullet management. In this regard, we focus on a personalized approach to glass waste storage and segregation. These actions result in increased efficiency.

Establishment of
Artglas Recycling

The history of Artglas Recycling began with the vision and determination of Zbigniew Lenk, a specialist in glass technology. A graduate of the prestigious AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow, Zbigniew acquired extensive education in glass materials, which, combined with his passion for glass and years of experience in glass packaging production, laid a solid foundation for establishing his own company.

The early days of Artglas Recycling were modest – the company focused on managing flat glass cullet (float glass). It recycled several hundred tons of raw material per month. However, the commitment to growing the business allowed for gradual expansion. The company concentrated on an innovative approach to recycling, developing its capabilities and improving glass waste management processes.

A breakthrough occurred in 2013–2014 when the decision was made to expand the product range. Artglas Recycling began focusing not only on float glass but also on other types of glass waste, including container glass, car windows, greenhouse glass, laminated (VSG), and mirror glass. This key business expansion allowed the company to become a versatile partner in glass recycling, opening up new opportunities for cooperation in the market.
